Concrete Repair in Newton, KS

Homeowner Mary P. of Newton, KS was worried about her concrete. She noticed certain areas were having significant settlement. After getting multiple recommendations about Thrasher and hearing about our process, she gave us a call to come out and inspect her concrete.

System Design Specialist Ben Linnebaur went out to Mary’s home. Upon inspection, he was able to see that the front steps had settled about 1.5 inches and her back A/C slab was also sinking. The crew fixed her concrete with a 3- part concrete protection system. The first part consisted of lifting the settled areas with PolyLevel. For the second part, we sealed all of the cracks and joints with NexusPro Joint Sealant. The third step consisted of applying the whole area with SealantPro, a protective layer to keep the area free of stains. Mary was impressed with the install and the crew!

Concrete Repair in Kechi, KS

This homeowner wanted to fix the concrete surrounding his pool. It was cracking pretty bad due to the settlement of the sand underneath. Brent See went out to the home to look at the concrete. Upon inspection, he found one section of the slab completely failed, and another was about to fail. Brent was convinced that the first section was too far gone and would have to be replaced. Our install crew member, Jason Nelson, was not only able to stabilize the concrete, but he was also able to raise several spots around the pool without damaging it.

The homeowner was so happy we were able to fix his concrete and reduce those significant tripping hazards with no damage to the pool at all!

Settling Concrete in Park City, KS fixed using PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant

Hank K.’s upper driveway was starting to sink causing a big bump to form and he would have to drive his car over that each time to pull into the garage. Hank was tired of the bump and wanted  level and stabilize the concrete.

After hearing great things about Thrasher,  he decided to give us a call. We had System Design Specialist, Miles Hodson go out and he was able come up with a solution. We started with applying  PolyLevel to lift the concrete making the bump less noticeable. We then applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal the joints in the driveway and up to the front porch. Hank was not only impressed with the quality of work but how the production crew was efficient and cleaned up well.

Leaning Pillar in Derby, KS

Clark has a walkway that extends around the back of his house. But where the walkway goes downhill, the steps were settled and uneven. He also had a pillar out front on the driveway that had settled and leaning.

He was looking for a way to fix it. When doing research, he was looking for a reliable, honest, and trustworthy company. So he called Thrasher.

We sent Beau Morris to conduct the inspection. After looking at Clark's concrete, Beau concluded that the steps were settling because the soil underneath the concrete had softened. This can happen over time due to weather changes. The same thing goes with the pillar; it was leaning because the soil was not compacted.

Luckily, it was an easy fix. We used PolyLevel to stabilize the steps and the pillar. After that, we sealed all joints and cracks with NexusPro to prevent water from getting beneath the steps.

Clark was happy with the finished result and happy he chose Thrasher.

Concrete Patio Sinking in Derby, KS

This homeowner wanted their back patio and AC area fixed because water had started pooling around their home recently, and this was a very concerning problem for their home's foundation. They read our reviews as well as watching our commercials online, and they decided that we had just the solutions to help them fix their concrete problem.

We sent System Design Specialist Daniel Capul to inspect the concrete problems and determine what solutions we could use for the patio. Daniel found that the concrete was not only causing water to pool around the home's foundation, but it was also a huge tripping hazard because of how uneven it was. After the inspection, Daniel discussed a custom solution with the homeowner that would help lift, level, and seal the concrete in order to eliminate the tripping hazard and stop water from pooling around the home's foundation. Our installation team used this custom plan and used PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the patio so that everyone could use it with ease.

The homeowner was extremely happy with their newly restored patio concrete. Check out the patio transformation.
