Front Stoop Tripping Hazard Fixed in Bellevue, NE

These homeowners just moved into town and they were worried about the tripping hazard on their front stoop. They didn't want their movers to have problems or get injured just by helping them move their stuff, so after doing some research into concrete repair companies, they gave us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Thomas Graff to welcome them to the area, as well as diagnose and solve the tripping hazard these homeowners were facing. After inspection, Thomas determined that the home had recently installed gutters, however the old gutter system was still collecting water which lead directly to the front walkway. The soil underneath the walkway was weakened by the water erosion from the gutters, so the soil settled, causing a massive void under the front stoop. The homeowners were frustrated by this as it was a new-to-them home, but Thomas knew just how to help them fix their problem. Our installation team was sent out and they used PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the front stoop and walkway.

The homeowners were very happy with the solutions that Thomas suggested and had installed. They were so impressed with the installation crew and their ability to get the job done in one day. Check out the leveled front stoop and driveway!

Street Creeps in Bellevue, NE

This homeowner likes to keep her house nice and remain proactive about potential problems. A couple of her concrete slabs near the garage were starting to settle and there were strong signs of street creep. There were vertical cracks forming in their garage and that pressure was about to reach the foundation wall which would cause serious damage. After we lifted and leveled the slabs, we installed a CompressionGuard, as seen in the "After" photo, to prevent any additional damage caused by street creep.

Concrete Driveway Repair in Omaha, NE

Theresa is a homeowner in Omaha, NE, and needed some concrete repair work. The concrete had settled and created a tripping hazard. Looking to prevent further damage and cost, she decided to call Thrasher Foundation Repair.

We sent System Design Specialist Sam Frei out to Theresa’s home. Sam was able to see that the driveway had a large amount of cracking due to street creep pressure, so the crew installed a CompressionGaurd to help with the expansion. We also used a combination of PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to level and close the exposed joints.

Concrete Protection in Bellevue, NE

David K. purchased a home in Bellevue, NE within the last two years and wants to make sure it stays in the best condition in case he decides to sell in the future. His old home had a multitude of concrete issues and he wanted to be sure any small issues at his new home were taken care of before they got out of hand. In order to keep his home in the best condition, he gave Thrasher a call to come out and inspect any concrete damage.

System design Specialist Bob Dunn arrived on the scene to perform a thorough inspection of all concrete on the property. The home had cracks in the back of the garage caused by street creep, slabs by the garage were uneven, and the joint sealants were beginning to fail. To repair these issues in a timely manner, David opted to have our teams install our PolyLevel foam and NexusPro joint sealer. They began by using the PolyLevel to permanently lift and level any uneven areas. Then, NexusPro is used to fill any cracks and joints to protect the concrete from any water damage in the future. Lastly, the team installed a compression guard in the middle of the driveway to stop cracks from forming in the back of the garage.

David K. was very happy with Thrasher and the quality of work we do. We were able to provide him a solution that protects and brings value to his greatest investment. He was so pleased with our work that he already has the next project scheduled.

Slanted Stairs Fixed

This concerned homeowner wanted to minimize people tripping on their way to her front door. The grading by the stairs was very steep and every tie it rained, water would wash out under the stairs, causing them to drop and settle. Our team used PolyLevel to lift the heavy stairs and sealed the joints with NExusPro to keep water out. We also advised this homeowner to have a landscaper come out and build the grading up next to the stairs so this won't happen again.
