Sinking Driveway Lifted in Kearney, MO

In Kearney, MO, a homeowner was tired of his driveway settling because it caused a huge bump that was rough on his car's tires. The driveway was also causing a tripping hazard when someone would try to use the front entrance walkway, so the homeowner decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Jimmy Hungerford to inspect the tripping hazard and determine what damage it had caused as well as how to fix these issues. Jimmy say the tripping hazard and the problematic concrete slab and immediately took a look at the foundation to ensure that the home was stable. After that inspection, Jimmy explained to the homeowner that the concrete was pushing into the foundation wall of the basement, meaning that the longer the uneven concrete existed, the more likely it would caused the foundation wall to cave in. The homeowner was upset by this news, and knew that he wanted to fix his concrete immediately. We had our team start to fix this homeowner's concrete quickly by utilizing PolyLevel Foam and NexusPro Sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete back to a height in which the foundation walls were not at risk.

The homeowner was happy with the work that was done and he was very thankful that we were able to help him catch his problem early enough that no further damage was done. Check out this homeowner's newly lifted driveway!

Driveway Leveling in Panora, IA

This homeowner was upset because his driveway slap had sunken 2-3 inches even after it had been mudjacked in the past. The longer this problem was, the harder it was to drive in and out of his driveway. Frustrated by this problem, he decided to give us a call and see what solutions we could offer.

We sent System Design Specialist Nick Wessling to inspect the concrete and find the root cause of the sinking problem. Nick found that the soil underneath the concrete was eroding because a poorly designed downspout was directing rainwater under the concrete. After discussing this problem with the homeowner, the homeowner was impressed that Nick found the root cause of the issue, and he wanted to move forward using Thrasher Foundation Repair to solve his problem. Our team installed buried downspouts leading away from the concrete to prevent any further damage, then they used PolyLevel foam to lift the driveway slab back to its original position.

The homeowner was happy that the root cause of the problem had been solved. Check out his leveled driveway!

Annual Maintenance Cracked Concrete Repair in Fort Dodge, IA

This homeowner made an appointment for us for annual maintenance because his concrete started developing a new crack on the back patio. We sent Service Technician Austin Dermody to fix the concrete cracks and prevent it from happening again. Austin saw that there was large equipment used to install the homeowner's new roof, so the cracks were likely caused by this. Austin used NexusPro Cracked Concrete Repair to seal the crack. Without sending a crew, Austin solved this homeowner's problem while the annual maintenance appointment was happening. The homeowner was very happy with the solution and how Austin was able to fix it same day. Check out the concrete repair!

Concrete Repair in Liberty, MO

Homeowner James has been making improvements to his home throughout the past few years and it was now time to tackle his cracked and sinking driveway. He had two driveway slabs that had dropped. Which created areas that water, snow, and ice would collect. It got so bad that as he was shoveling snow, his shovel would get snagged on those sunken areas. That's when he said "Enough is enough!" and called Thrasher. We sent System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow out to inspect his driveway and discuss solutions with James.

Bobby decided the best course of action would be to use PolyLevel foam to lift the areas that were down. And then use our NexusPro Joint and crack sealer in and around the areas we lifted to ensure those areas were safe from moisture. When we were finished, James was so grateful that we were able to get the job done, do it well, and even do it in 18-degree weather.
