This homeowner was struggling with water pooling on his concrete. His concrete was sinking, cracking, and causing a tripping hazard, so he knew that he wanted to get this problem fixed right away, so he gave us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Justice Haven to inspect the homeowner's concrete and determine what was causing the concrete to have so many problems as well as suggest solutions to fix these problems. Justice found that water was getting into the cracks and joints of the concrete, washing out the soil underneath the slab and causing the concrete to settle. He also pointed out that the water that was pooling on his concrete was making the problem worse. After discussing options to fix this with the homeowner, Justice called to set up an installation appointment for the homeowner quickly. One of our installation teams came out to the home and utilized PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealant to lift, level, and seal the concrete driveway. The homeowner loved the results of his newly fixed driveway. Check out the before and after!
This homeowner is starting to get a little older and was worried about the trip hazards that were in her walkway and driveway. She had seen the ads for Thrasher Foundation Repair on her TV and decided to give us a call. System Design Specialist, Elliot Christians, came out to meet with her. He did his full thorough inspection, and found there was washout of soil under the concrete that was causing the concrete to settle. He came back to the homeowner with these findings and a solution. Together, they decided the best solution for her concerns would be to use our 2 Part Concrete Protection System. This consists of Polylevel and NexusPro. PolyLevel is used to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete, and NexusPro is used to seal the joints and cracks. Both of these products are also waterproof, so it will help prevent any washout in the future! Check out the before and after of this project. We know this homeowner does not have to worry any longer and has the peace of mind she needed!
About 7 years ago Elaine H. had her driveway mudjacked, she started to notice the same area that was mudjacked was starting to settle. After having a bad experience with a previous contractor, she was hesitant to bring another one out. Her neighbor had work done with us and recommend she give us a call.
System Design Specialist Ryan Galt went out to the home and was able to identify a solution. The joints in the driveway where to wide, which was allowing water to go under the slab and cause it to sink in the same spot that the mudjacking had occurred. We used PolyLevel and NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal up the joins and life the concrete back up, so it was all smooth and level
Cheryl is going to sell her house in a few years and is getting ready to get a maximum property value. She called Thrasher to get her driveway fixed without replacing it all. When researching which concrete repair company to work with, she decided on us because of our professionalism and solution-oriented approach. She liked that we gave her different options and solutions to her problems. System Design Specialist, Josh Krestine, went to her home to get to the root of the problem. Upon inspection, he found that Cheryl had a sinking landing due to poor soil compaction around the house, which created a significant step up to her front door. Other driveway areas were cracking and falling as the water entered cracks and eroded the soil from underneath the concrete.
To fix these issues, we used a waterproof polymer foam to level all her concrete. Next, we used NexusPro to seal all cracks and joints to make them more stable and keep water from getting underneath. Then, for the final touch, we power washed and sprayed SealantPro to act as a protectant and keep the driveway from eroding due to water and temperature changes. This gave her driveway new life!
Cheryl, in the beginning, was very worried she'd have to replace the concrete and, honestly, didn't think we would be able to repair it. But we did and were able to do it at a fraction of the total replacement price.
This customer has lived in his Blue Springs home for 20 years. He's a father of three boys that are all in the Army and wants to make his basement a liveable space again. The first step in that process is to take care of the water issues, starting with fixing the driveway. We used PolyLevel foam to lift and level the cement slabs, then we sealed all the joints and cracks using NexusPro, making sure that water won't damage the driveway.
