Jeff is a homeowner in Lincoln, NE, and the family enjoyed the use of their sunroom. The room sits on top of a concrete slab that started to settle. Jeff also had concerns about one of their foundation walls, which he discussed with Service Technician Jeremy Haynes. To stabilize the foundation wall, we installed piers and, for the concrete, we used PolyLevel to level out the unevenness. Jeff was thrilled with the work done on his home!
Rhonda is a devoted homeowner in Lincoln, NE and wants to be sure her home is being maintained to its fullest potential. The concrete on her driveway and sidewalks concerned her, so she wanted to have them fully restored before they got any worse. Rhonda has had several projects done by Thrasher since first starting with us in 2009. We are the company she can trust; therefore, she didn’t hesitate to call us for her concrete needs.
To start the project, System Design Specialist Jeff McCormick visited the home in Lincoln and inspected the concrete surrounding the house. There were numerous areas with voids under the exterior causing cracks, which lead to settlement and tripping hazards. In addition, there were multiple joints that weren’t sealed allowing water to get underneath and wash out the soil. Rhonda opted to have the crew install our three-part concrete protection system on all exterior areas. This three-part system begins by inserting our PolyLevel foam to lift and level the sunken areas. NexusPro sealant is then used to seal all cracks and joints to prevent any water from entering underneath. Lastly, SealantPro is applied to the surface to help preserve and protect the concrete from deterioration. These three products combined permanently restore the driveway and increase its functionality.
Rhonda was thrilled with the results of the three-part system. She was content with her decision to protect her driveway and increase the life of her home. She continues to put her trust in Thrasher and the services we provide.
The home was experiencing significant street creep, sinking concrete, and big voids under the concrete. We used a compression guard to prevent further street creep and reverse anchors to avoid the back wall of the garage from tipping over any further.
This sidewalk in Lincoln, NE was unlevel and had wide joints, creating a dangerous situation. Using PolyLevel, we created a safer sidewalk by lifting and leveling the concrete slabs. The joints were also sealed with NexusPro.
The customer's front steps were sinking and becoming a deep distance from which to step up and down. Because they have done driveway work with Thrasher before, they knew who to call. We used PolyLevel to lift the step to its original position. The customer was so happy that it looked much better.
