The wall in this basement had developed a substantial horizontal crack, caused by bowing over time. Fortunately, because the top and bottom sections of the wall remain stable, our PowerBrace system can be employed to correct the problem. PowerBraces, specially designed to spread the wall’s weight across the basement floor and ceiling joists, prevent further damage to these areas. These braces are straightforward to install, typically taking just one day, and can gradually restore the wall to its original position. Additionally, their flexible design allows them to be fitted around obstacles, such as a fuse box.
