This home in Cincinnati, Ohio had a downgrade patio that was attracting water because the surrounding retaining wall was passing water when it rained. This was resulting in pools of water sitting on their patio, which could lead water right into their basement if it rained enough. Since this home was only flooding because of water that was coming from the patio, we didn't propose an interior waterproofing solution like we normally do. Instead, we installed an exterior system that included, various downspouts, trench drains, catch basins, and perforated drains. No need for a sump pump, since we installed a good amount of downspouts that will do all the work needed thanks to gravity. The result gave the customer a good piece of mind knowing their basement is, and will be, dry.
This basement was leaking water and moisture and the customer had enough of the smell of mold. We installed our waterproofing system consisting of WaterGuard drains and a TripleSafe sump pump in order to stop moisture from coming in the basement walls and floors.
This basement had a musty basement smell because water was penetrating and mold was growing on parts of the stone walls. This basement already had an interior waterproofing system, but it was old and ineffective. The owners called us to get it right once and for all. The first step was to replace their drainage system, which was just generic, all-use drain pipes. We replaced these old and clogged drains with our WaterGuard, which is perfectly designed not to clog. We then covered the drains back up with a semi-thin layer of concrete to conceal the drains. We then replaced their old sump pump with our Super Sump sump pump, which was a great upgrade. We also installed a trench drain under the basement door. The trench drain conveniently connects to the WaterGuard system. We finished the job by putting up CleanSpace walls all over the basement, effectively stopping the possibility of mold to be exposed in the home. CleanSpace is made of a non-bio, waterproof material, meaning mold cannot grow on it. It is also a great insulator by keeping cold air out. This waterproofing system install in an older Cincinnati home is able to help the customer by saving on energy bills, improving the air they breathe, reducing the risk of floods, and keeping bugs out.
We waterproofed this basement with our interior perimeter waterproofing system. Shown in the after picture is a SuperSump sump pump with an UltraSump 4 battery back up, CleanSpace walls, and wet concrete poured over the WaterGuard drains.
We installed our regular interior perimeter waterproofing system for this basement. Seen in the after picture is a TripleSafe sump pump equipped with an UltraSump 4 battery back up, fresh concrete poured over WaterGuard drains, and CleanSpace walls.
