Jimmy had water coming in through the cold joints of his basement, causing mold and anxiety about his home. Cold joints are where the footing of your home, meets the foundation walls. Through time, the soil outside of the home begins to crack and shift, which allows water to build up pressure. Once there is too much pressure, there is only one way the water can go, into your basement. After one of our expert team members evaluated the space, they were able to come up with a solution that would keep Jimmy's basement dry, and guarantee he could live stress-free.
For Jimmy's home, a full perimeter WaterGuard was installed. This is a system that is laid next to the footing of the home, with perforated holes in the back. This allows for any water that comes through the cold joint, to be redirected to a Sump Pump, ultimately pushing the water up and out of the basement. Keeping the entire area dry.
This homeowner wanted to fix the tripping hazard on their patio so their kids and family don't hurt themselves. We were able to help by using Poly Level to lift the patio back to its original position and NexusPro to fill the joints and prevent water intrusion.
This worried customer was experiencing improper water drainage and ended up noticing some concrete settlement on her driveway. She was concerned that if it didn't get fixed it would result in extreme water damage. After inspecting the situation, we used our injectable PolyLevel foam to level the concrete and finished the project by sealing the cracks with NexusPro.
These homeowners were tired of having to deal with water coming into their basement because it raised the humidity and damaged a lot of their stored items. They had previously used our services for foundation support, so when this water problem started, they gave us a call to help.
We sent Service Technician Brad Metzger to inspect the water source and determine a comprehensive solution to fix the water problem for these homeowners. Brad found that water was consistently entering the basement through wall cracks as well as the cold joints on the basement's perimeter. While this was unsettling to find out for the homeowners, Brad assured them that there is a great solution to solve this problem, so they made an installation appointment. Brad and one of our installation teams got to work on installing WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, a full height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, as well as a new TripleSafe Sump Pump System to keep water drained and pumped out of the basement.
The homeowners were very happy with the results and they cannot wait to be worry free about water damage. Check out these newly installed waterproofing solutions!
This homeowner had standing water in her basement and her son was planning on moving into her home and using the basement area as storage for his possessions. She knew that she needed to fix this problem for her son to be able to move in, so she decided to give us a call to see what solutions we could offer.
We sent System Design Specialist Bobby Bartow to inspect the basement water problem, determine what was causing the problem, and design a solution to fix this problem. Bobby found that water was getting into the homeowner's basement on two different sides on the cold joints of the walls and floors. He also noticed that he walls had started to move inward due to hydrostatic pressure. When this was discovered, Bobby discussed how these problems both needed to be addressed for the home's structural integrity and the homeowner agreed that she needed to fix these problems. One of our installation teams arrived at the home and utilized PowerBraces to push back the inward moving walls over time. After that, they installed WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, partial height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a lateral line, and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to effectively waterproof the basement by draining and pumping water away.
The homeowner was very understanding of the importance of the work that was being done and she was thankful that our team was willing to work with her budget concerns while still completing the project. Check out the new PowerBraces and waterproofing systems!
