This basement in Troy, Illinois used to hold water after heavy, long rains. Now with WaterGuard installed, this basement no longer gets water in it...and the owners are pleased with the work done!
An Enclosed Basement Window Well that replaced the rusty metal one is sealed to the foundation so that nothing gets inside of it.
This old sump pump in a Troy, IL home wasn't able to keep up with the household flow of water. With the TripleSafe sump pump system installed, they no longer have to worry whether their sump pump can keep up and their basement will stay dry.
Homeowners in Troy, IL had WaterGuard installed in their leaky basement to direct water flow into the TripleSafe sump pump system they also had installed. The homeowners also had the IceGuard installed outside of the home, which prevents backing up of the sump pump in the event of failure of the discharge line.
Shirley and Warren T. of Troy, IL unfortunately didn’t waterproof their basement before finishing it. Hidden leaks from their foundation walls had soaked and stained their carpet which took hours to dry out. The wood panelling on the bottom half of their walls was ruined so their called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
The WaterGuard drainage system was installed as part of that waterproofing system. WaterGuard is installed under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement, as can be seen in the picture. Because it is situated on top of the concrete footing of the basement, it won’t become clogged with silt or plant roots as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it to the sump pump for removal.
