Leaking basement walls can lead to damage and essentially render the space unusable. This was the case with a Mulkeytown, Illinois homeowner who was plagued with leaks any time that it rained, leading her to call Woods Basement Systems to waterproof her space. WaterGuard, a gutter-like drainage system that is placed underneath the floor at the base of the walls, was installed to catch any leaks. After this, a TwinPack sump pump was put in place. Equipped with two independently operating pumps, the TwinPack is capable of removing well over 10,000 gallons of water per hour! The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. It collects any water that is coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.

Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Herrin, IL, causing damage to them. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was first installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the perimeter drainage system. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed.
