Crawlspace Moisture Solution in Newport Beach, Ca
In October 2022, over a year after purchasing their Newport Beach home as a rental property, the homeowners began noticing a worsening musty odor. Suspecting a plumbing issue, they hired a plumber who found no problems with the pipes but confirmed leaks, moisture, and mold in the crawlspace. With no clear solution, the homeowners searched for a company that could provide the right fix at the right price, leading them to Saber Foundation Repair.
Saber’s design specialist thoroughly inspected the crawlspace and identified water intrusion from California’s heavy rains as the primary issue. To address this, Saber installed:
- French Drain: A system to drain excess water and prevent it from pooling in the crawlspace.
- Smart Sump Systems: Two Smart Sumps with a high-efficiency pump to collect and remove water efficiently.
