Diego is an asset to the Baird company, he is knowledgeable and very methodical in his job. His customer service skills are off the chart, he and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with, and with the foundation within acceptable limits, I feel the foundation is safe enough to move my one month old child into. He took ownership, and that is a rare trait to find in people and companies anymore.
My only issue I had was the bid process, I explained I wanted my foundation leveled as much as possible, which in my case meant lifting it, the young man that bid my house, bid it to stabilize it, so midway through the job I got hit with another $8,000 in piers, I was more concerned with my house being right than the money, but that's a big number to suck up in the middle of a project. At the end, Diego also recommends filling the new voids under the slab with foam, again, not that I have to do this work (it's an option), but another bill my family was not expecting. Again, I know these are options and not forced upon me, but I'm a former contractor and I know what needs to be complete to fix my foundation a 100%, I was just not told about it up front, I was presented a price to "fix" my house and I felt like I ended up eating at a fancy Italian restaraunt that was A La Carte.....
