In Dover, TN, we installed a sump pump system in this homeowner's basement. When installing a sump pump system, our technicians attempt to place it in the lowest area of the basement. This allows water to flow through the perimeter drainage system and directly into the sump pump. Once water is inside the sump pump, it is pumped out through another drainage system that is dug into the yard with a drain at the end. This ensures water is moved out and away from the home.
By installing a drainage system around the inside of the basement along the wall, you can capture water at the most common point of entery, the floor/wall joint. You can also capture water from the walls and prevent the center of the floor from leaking by intercepting the water at the perimeter of the floor before it gets to the center.
We transformed this wet, musky crawlspace into a dry, insulated area using our Cleanspace Liner, SuperSump pump and Silver Glo!
We turned this wet and moldy crawl space into a waterproof dry crawl space!
This customer in Benton, KY had an issue with major water intrusion into his basement/storm shelter after a large storm. After the water issue was resolved, we came in and removed the damaged insulation, cleaned the joists, and mitigated the mold issue. After that was complete, we want to make sure he never had flood issues again.
We installed a TripleSafe Complete Pump System, with a drainage system and ice guard to prevent freezing of the drainage lines and a LawnScape so that any water flows out into the yard far away from the foundation of the home. Added 1085 sqft Drainage Matting with CleanSpace on the flooring and CleanSpace walls. We had to permanently stabilize the floors with smart jacks and added a SaniDry Sedona to keep the basement free of moisture and prevent any mold from coming back.
