This customer was experiencing sinking on one side of their garage. Our team was able to lift and level the slab, closing the gap between the floor and the next level step.
In many cases, an elevated pool has soil pressures that push the walls out and away from the home. This movement causes cracks to form and the walls to tip over. Vesta will install a deadman system anchor in many cases but the pool can create a problem with these designs. In this case, the Vesta team installed steel bracing that is welded in place. These designs are engineered to support the weight of the pool and walls. By installing this the walls are permanently stabilized and holding the weight of the pool and all the family members over enjoying a Sunday barbecue.
Homeowners in Norman are known for their great college sports and shrink swell soil. The soil has a tendency to move as the soil dries and is wetted. This ongoing movement becomes a recipe for foundation failure. To help with this the Vesta Team installs Steel Piers called a push pier system. These specifically designed systems are installed to ensure long term results. Along with the Push pier system being installed along the outside of the home, PolyLevel foam injected on the inside to prevent slab movement.
Steel piers are installed on this home to help stabilize the stem wall and correct cracks that have formed in the brick and sheetrock. By installing steel push pier systems on the outside of our home, the foundation rests on the stable Pier rather than the shrink/swell soil under your foundation.
This driveway had massive underlying voids. The Vesta production team was able to lift and level the driveway back into place and protect it from any further sinking in the future.
