This homeowner in South Hamilton, Massachusetts was experiencing sinking and cracking with their garage floor. Design Specialist Kyle Jamerson inspected the issues they were experiencing. Kyle proposed using PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete and then use CrackSeal and Resurface the garage floor. Crew Lead Cody Gosselin and his team came to the home and installed the PolyLevel, CrackSeal, and Resurface to repair the garage floor, making it like new again for a fraction of the cost of pouring new.
This homeowner in Marshfield, MA was looking for a solution to the concrete slabs outside their garage which had shifted and settled over the years. As the concrete sunk, the bump and seam leading from the driveway into the overhead doors was getting larger and becoming a hazard. Tearing out and replacing the driveway in order to fix the problem would be expensive and incredibly time consuming. They were pleased to learn our Erickson team had experience in lifting and leveling concrete with polymer material, a process which would not require removal of any existing concrete and would take just a day to complete.
Our team designed and proposed the ideal solution and installed PolyLevel to help the homeowner address their sunken concrete concerns. This process is similar to mudjacking, but more effective, cleaner, and quicker. The installation process involved drilling tiny dime sized port holes, injecting the polymer foam material as needed, and then sealing the concrete cold joints with a silicone based caulking called NexusPro.
The transformation of the concrete driveway was amazing. The settled areas of concern were lifted with ease and made access to the garage much safer. With the joints sealed and protected against further water intrusion, there is also much less risk of further settled being a concern for the homeowner. They were super pleased with the results and glad to have found a solution to fix their concrete settlement issues.
This homeowner in Ipswich, MA was concerned with the concrete deck surrounding their inground pool. The concrete was settling as it tapered away from the edges of the pool, and in some sections was close to being 4 inches down from where it was originally installed. The joints around the pool were full of plastic coping, which might look nice and white, but does not protect the concrete from rain water. Essentially, water can easily flow beneath the concrete and cause erosion in the soil beneath, which is what led to the settlement of the slabs.
Our team lifted and stabilized the concrete throughout the entire patio. We then removed all the plastic coping at the joints and replaced it with NexusPro, a silicone based caulking specifically designed for outdoor applications and exposure to rain and sun. With these repairs and upgrades made, this pool deck will be protected for years to come, and the homeowner no longer has to worry about settlement affecting the condition of the patio around their inground pool.
