In Halifax, Massachusetts, a homeowner faced the issue of his pool deck settling, which resulted in unsafe trip hazards and significant cracking. Over the last decade, this issue has even led to the displacement of the fence. The homeowner had not repaired the concrete because he was unaware of a quick and cost-effective solution like PolyLevel. After learning about PolyLevel, he contacted Erickson Foundation Solutions to restore the pool deck.
Our Design Specialist, Jim Meglio, has suggested the use of PolyLevel and NexusPro for lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the concrete surrounding the pool. The process involves injecting polyurethane foam beneath the sunken concrete to fill the voids, resulting in an immediate lift. This foam quickly hardens after application, offering a durable solution for void filling. To achieve the desired position, our installation team utilized slab jacks to support and level the concrete. Finally, NexusPro sealant was applied to the joints and cracks to inhibit future cracking and settling.
Upon completing the installation and tidying up the job site, a final walkthrough was conducted with the homeowner. The work was showcased, and any remaining questions were addressed. The homeowner was overjoyed at the prospect of using their pool again!
This homeowner in Gilford, NH was experiencing some cracks in their garage that they wanted to be sealed. Design Specialist Paul Magowan came to the home to look at the garage floor. He concluded that the garage floor would benefit from some Polylevel and then some Crack Seal. Crew Lead Nick Melo and his team came to the home to install the Polylevel and the Crack Seal.
This homeowner was concerned with the uneven concrete of the walkway running along the side of their home. Several trip hazards had formed due to settlement, and these were also a pain when it came time for shoveling snow. Our team was able to inject PolyLevel to lift the slabs and even out the surface as much as possible. All the joints were sealed with NexusPro as well, which will prevent rain water from flowing in between the individual concrete slabs and causing more settlement issues in the future. The owner was glad to have the work completed and have a safer walkway for his family.
