In Atlantic, IA, Eileen J. was eager to have the water problems in her basement solved. Her basement was finished, but the continuous water intrusion was creating a mud build-up and ruining the space. Looking for a permanent solution, she contacted Thrasher for a full inspection and demonstration of our products. 

Our System Design Specialist Tony Taylor determined the water was seeping in through the cold joints and flooding the basement. She opted to have our crews install our full perimeter WaterGuard interior drainage system and CleanSpace waterproof barrier to collect all water and direct it away from the foundation. 

Eileen was impressed with our solutions and dedication to quality repairs. These are the projects that remind us of why we do what we do, to restore our customer's peace of mind and improve their lives.  

Volaine is a homeowner in Clarinda, IA, that needed some waterproofing. There would be a lot of water that would come into the basement and, she was tired of the mess it would cause, so she decided to call Thrasher. Service Technician Matt Stice went out to the home. He was able to recommend replacing the TripleSafe sump pump and have a battery backup. Volaine and her family were relieved to never worry about water in the basement again. 

Dirt floor crawl spaces can cause mold and humidity throughout your home. To fix this homeowner's dirt floor, we encapsulated their crawl space by installing a thick vapor barrier and dehumidifier. Now they can rest easy knowing the air they're breathing is safe!

This homeowner was unhappy that the porch in front of their home had sunk into the ground overtime  (up to 5 inches down in some places!).  To fix that, we used Polylevel foam under the concrete to lift it back to its original position. After the concrete was level, our team applied the finishing touches using NexusPro, which will prevent this kind of sinking in the future. 

This customer had a few slabs that had settled and had taken the front step down about 3/4 of an inch. This created a cracked caulk line that he didn't like. He thought that it had also created a crack down a column by the side of the porch but that had been caused by age and weather. 

We fixed the crack at the step by using Polylevel to bring the slab that holds the step back up, we also used Nexus Pro to fill all the cracks and control joints in the driveway.
