This homeowner was tired of fixing cracks in the drywall and didn't want trip hazards on the concrete. Structurally, he had no idea what was going on with his home. We discovered that these issues were happening because of street creep. Street creep occurs when the concrete street expands during the hot months, putting excess pressure on the driveway on subsequently, the foundation. to fight back against street creep, we installed a CompressionGuard into the driveway!

This homeowner has a lot of elderly visitors and did not want her walkway and front patio to be a tripping hazard. She called Thrasher and System Design Specialist, Jeff Schlimm, came out to help her. Jeff found the patio was sinking due to washout over time. We were able to help by using PolyLevel and NexusPro to lift, level and stabilize the slabs and sealing off the joints. These products are both waterproof, preventing any washout in the future. Our customer had a problem with water flooding their garage. The garage turned into a mini swimming pool, and they were tired of trying to push the water out. They asked Thrasher for help to solve this issue.

The problem was that the garage wasn't built properly. When the concrete was poured, it made a bump that didn't let the water drain correctly. This caused our customer's things to constantly get wet. 

So, our team came up with a clever plan. We lifted the concrete floor in the garage using Polylevel foam. This made a gentle slope inside the garage, so the water would flow to the middle and could drain out.

This homeowner wanted to fix the dip they around the entrance of their garage as well as the dipping front walkway. He was worried that the rest of his concrete would eventually face the same fate of settling, do he knew that he needed to act sooner rather than later. When he found the detailed process of concrete repair to be too much to do on his own, he decided to give us a call to see how we could help lift his concrete burden.

We sent System Design Specialist Jeremy Sund to inspect the homeowner's driveway and front walkway, diagnose the issues facing these, then design a solution fit to fix and protect the concrete surfaces from further damage. Jeremy found that the soil underneath the homeowner's driveway and front walkway was poorly compacted, meaning that the soil was vulnerable to wash out and settlement. He suggested that we utilize our 3-part Concrete Protection System to fix, protect, and prevent further damage to the concrete surfaces, and the homeowner was very excited with this plan.

One of our installation teams came out to the home and started to utilize the 3-Part Concrete Protection System, including PolyLevel Foam to lift the concrete, NexusPro Sealant to seal the cracks and joints of the concrete, and SealantPro to protect the concrete from further damage. This family had lived here for several years and noticed their porch was getting worse and worse over time. They knew this issue would not fix itself, they started their research. They had a few bad experiences with contractors, but trusted our experience when they read the reviews. Anthony Salcedo, System Design Specialist, came out to meet with them. He did his inspection, and found that due to an abundant amount of moisture from bad drainage, the soil under the slab shifted. This caused the slab to start sinking and cracking. Anthony went to the family with these findings, and came up with a solution. We used Polylevel to lift and level the slab back into place, and NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks.
