Bill and Miriam B. have lived in their Omaha home for over 22 years and want to continue to live there for years to come. Unfortunately, over time their driveway and sidewalks have settled and spalled in areas exposed to high usage. At an older age, Bill and Miriam had no desire to tackle the project on their own. While one of our teams was at Bill and Miriam’s home for an annual inspection on their waterproofing system, Bill brought the concrete to our attention.

 To begin the project, System Design Specialist Jeremy Haynes visited the Omaha property and inspected what the concrete needed. Bill and Miriam opted to have our team install our 3-part concrete protection system (CPS) which includes PolyLevel, SealantPro, and NexusPro. The PolyLevel is applied first in order to lift and level the settled areas. SealantPro is then used to protect the concrete against any future deterioration and stains. Lastly, the team finished with the NexusPro to seal all expansions, control joints, and seal any cracks that have already been formed.

 Bill and Miriam were excited to have this project complete, and the longevity of their home increased for their benefit. Bill has always taken it upon himself to tackle this project, but he now relies on Thrasher to make sure his home is in good hands.

Page B. is a homeowner in Omaha, NE and was concerned with a crack and possible settlement on the back patio. Familiar with Thrasher and our reputation within her family, she gave us a call to come inspect the possible damage. System Design Specialist Jeremy Haynes arrived at the Omaha home to analyze the problematic area. It was evident that the back patio had settled in a few areas causing water to rest against the foundation when it rains. With unsealed joints, the water was pooling near the walk out basement door and running under the back patio.

 Page opted to have our two-part concrete protection service installed to ensure this is a permanent fix. The team began by installing our PolyLevel foam to lift and restore the settled areas to their original state. Then, with NexusPro they sealed all the control joints and along the foundation to seal out water and prevent any future damage.

 The homeowner was pleased with the results and effectiveness of our concrete protection system. Page wanted the job done right and continues to put her faith in the solutions Thrasher has to offer.  

Doug and Mary C. have plans to sell their home in Omaha, NE within the next few years and wanted to maximize its value. The home had some concrete issues throughout, and they knew it was time to have them repaired before they got any worse with more time. Doug and Mary opted to have our teams install our two-part concrete protection system that consists of PolyLevel foam and NexusPro sealer. PolyLevel is installed first by injecting the foam underneath the concrete to permanently lift and level it. NexusPro sealer is then applied to all cracks and joints to prevent any water from breaching the surface in the future. In addition to the two-part system, the crew installed our CompressionGuard, a 3-inch-wide expansion joint, to give the concrete a range of motion during the change of seasons and prevent damage to the foundation.

This home's sidewalk had wide joints that were only getting wider. This is concerning because water can penetrate those joints and create more problems. Our NexusPro sealant is the perfect product for this issue. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant that can withstand harsh weather conditions. 

These homeowners were experiencing sinking of their concrete in their garage, which was followed by a big crack. They wanted to get their floor fixed so they could use their garage properly and use it to store their cars again. They called Thrasher and one of our System Design Specialists, Bob, talked through how we could help. To life the concrete back into place, we used out Polylevel foam to lift and level. They then used NexusPro as our caulk to seal the joints and cracks. These homeowners loved the finished product and were so excited they could use it as normal soon after install!
