This homeowner didn't want his wall to fall over after he moved, as he was moving next door to where the wall would be his backyard. We had done work for the homeowner in the past, so he decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Matt Jacobson to inspect the wall and determine what was causing it to fall as well as how to fix this problem for the homeowner. Matt found that the old wall anchors on his wall were installed years ago and they were failing to support the wall, allowing it to lean. He knew that these older anchors would not be fixable, so he came up with a plan to use new GeoLock Anchors to stabilize the wall over time. Our installation team came out and installed these new anchors quickly so that the wall could start to push back towards its original position.

This customer had weak floor joists and beams in their crawl space. This can cause the floor above to sink, slop, or sag. To fix this issue, our team installed our SmartJack system, which is steel columns that are secured to the beams or joists in the crawl space. This permanently lifts and stabilizes the pace. Tom pinpointed settled foundation areas and proposed a plan to stabilize these areas for the long term. The homeowner was relieved that this could be fixed permanently, so she went forward with the project. Tom and his team got straight to work utilizing a push pier system to stabilize the home. This system pushed the home back to its original level and it will keep it stabilized there.

This homeowner wanted to increase his home's curb appeal as well as keep his home safe. He noticed that the retaining wall he has next to his driveway was starting to lean and become unlevel, and this worried him. He had seen some of our commercials as well as heard of our good reputation from his friends, so he decided to give us a call and see what we could do to support his retaining wall.

We sent System Design Specialist Mike Schmidt to inspect the retaining wall and determine what was causing to to lean. Mike found that the retaining wall was deflecting because of hydrostatic pressure pushing against the wall for many years. Although the situation seemed difficult to fix to the homeowner, Mike explained how the wall deflection could be solved using GeoLock Anchors that will help to straighten it overtime. The foundation walls in this home were deflecting inwards due to increasing pressure from the soil. To fix this, we stabilized the foundation walls using our PowerBrace wall system.
