This driveway is in need of repair after experiencing some major cracking. After using NexusPro to seal the joints and cracks, and SealantPro, which permanently bonds the concrete protecting it from moisture, this driveway is looking brand new again!

This homeowner recently decided to do something about the sunken concrete driveway at their home. To address this issue, we used PolyLevel polyurethane foam which is injected beneath the concrete slabs through small ports, filling cracks and crevices in the soil. As it expands and hardens, it lifts the concrete slabs, restoring them to their proper position while simultaneously compressing the surrounding soil. One advantage of PolyLevel is how fast it works, you can resume normal use of your concrete just 15 minutes after the process is completed. 

This homeowner was tired of the "speed bump" due to concrete settling as he entered and left his garage. He did not want to replace the drive and also has no plans of moving. He knew roughly what it would take to replace his driveway fully, and knew it would be more affordable to fix. He knew of Thrasher reputation and gave us a call. James Denning, System Design Specialist, came out to meet with him. James saw how settled the driveway was and the homeowner joked that he would either need to get his driveway fixed or buy a Jeep! James helped this homeowner by proposing we use our PolyLevel to lift the sections of the driveway that have sunk, and NexusPro to seal the joints. We also installed a compression guard to provide a true buffer between the street and his home. The homeowner was thrilled with the difference in height, saying it was much easier to get in and out of his home. Check out the before and after photos attached! 

This driveway in Ankeny, IA had begun to sink in places causing an annoying bump for this customer while driving in and out of their garage. After using PolyLevel foam the problem was fixed within minutes! PolyLevel foam expands to lift and support the slabs without adding extra weight to the load-bearing soils underneath. The outcome looked amazing; this customer couldn't have been happier to get rid of that bump. 

Chad had been doing plenty of research of how to fix his extremely cracked driveway. Others had told him the only way to fix was to do a complete tear out and redo, but he was hopeful someone out there could do a repair fix for him. He read our online reviews and had full confidence in Thrasher and our ability. Kyle Linback, one of our System Design Specialists, came out to meet with Chad. After the free inspection, Kyle had found the cracking and settling was due to poor soil compaction and washout over the years. There were voids under the concrete that were the cause of sinking and cracking. Kyle proposed we use our PolyLevel foam to lift and level the concrete back into place, and our NexusPro to fill in the joints and cracks. The great thing about PolyLevel is that it is waterproof and environmentally friendly! Chad was extremely happy with the results, as he was not ready to replace his concrete.
