When a bowing block basement wall has less than two inches of deflection, we can stabilize it with our CarbonArmor system. Carbon armor is the perfect wall reinforcement system because it is, minimally invasive, has a quick installation time, and is super strong. We first sand the walls to make sure our epoxy glue gets deep into the pores of the concrete for ultimate strength. We then apply the epoxy over the wall and adhere it to the carbon reinforcement strip. After we glue the carbon strip to the wall, we then configure the ArmorLock, which is how we configure the system to the rim joist and sill plate. Carbon Armor is the perfect solution for minimally bowed block walls!
This home had floor joists that were rotting from years of exposure to moisture. We installed SmartJacks to ensure the floor joists are held up properly.
This crawl space's main beams were in need of some support because the floor above had a lot of weight pressing down and causing wear and tear on the beams. We supported the beams by installing SmartJacks in the crawl space, connected to the main beams.
The wall in the garage of this home was bowing in from built up water on the outside soil of the garage. In order to keep this wall stable, we installed a system of PowerBrace steel beams. PowerBraces are not just your everyday steel beam product. They have unique qualities like special brackets that prevent damage to floor joists. They are also made of galvanized steel, so they won't rust like other options. The result of this project brought peace of mind to the homeowner that their wall won't shift again.
This basement had a bowing wall that was cracking horizontally. In order to remedy this, we installed 10 eight feet PowerBraces along the wall. The PowerBraces are so strong that the owner wont have to worry about the wall for the future.
