This home had a pretty big crawl space that was in pretty good shape, but was receiving moisture none the less. We installed our CleanSpace walls to act as a moisture barrier, and we also installed insulation panels called SilverGlo.
The soil under this homes foundation was shifting, causing the foundation to sink away from the brick walls of the house. We are able to raise foundations by using helical piers, which are strong enough to transfer the weight of the houses down into deep soil. They also go deep down into solid soil that can't move, allowing the foundation to stay put for good.
This crawl space was sinking because the soil underneath the home was shrinking due to dry conditions. We installed our SmartJacks to transfer the weight of the home to stabilize it. No more sinking floors!
This home had a driveway that was slowly falling off the hill that there house resides on. PolyLevel foam injections weren't going to fix the problem just by themselves this time. We also needed helical piers installed to make sure the problem doesn't happen again. This big driveway which was used to store a lot of cars and weight, was now safe again.
Are you noticing your house settling? In Williamstown, drought conditions have exaggerated the effects of settling, resulting in many houses to sink. For this house, we installed piers on the footers to transfer the weight of the home onto stable load-bearing soils.
