This home in Lexington, Kentucky needed a crawl space makeover. We installed SilverGlo, a SmartPump, drainage matting, and CleanSpace in order to keep the crawlspace from receiving moisture and leaking energy,
This crawl space was exposed to what we like to call "the open earth." When your crawl space is exposed to dirt, it allows for moisture to rise up through the soil, and attaches to the wood, concrete walls, and anything else that you may have in your crawl space. Unfortunately, the moisture in this crawl space grew to mold on their wooden sil plate. To start this renovation, we replaced their sil plate. We then placed our CleanSpace liner all across the walls and floor of this crawl space, sealing it from the earth. The Clean Space liner, similar to a pool liner, is heavy duty and effective at blocking out moisture, bugs, cold air, dirt, and anything else unwanted in your crawl space. We finished by installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and a Condensation pump. The SaniDry Sedona is one of our most coveted products, able to take moisture from the air and collect it in large quantities at a proficient rate. The condensation pump hooks up to the SaniDry Sedona and pumps out all the water it collects.
We installed Clean Space liner for this customer all across their dirty crawl space. This keeps dirt, moisture, and mold out of the crawlspace.
This CrawlSpace was slowly deteriorating from moisture issues. The customer called us for our expertise on the matter and we were happy to help. We Installed CleanSpace, drainage matting, A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, SilverGlo paneling, and a condensation pump. No longer will this customer have to worry about moisture issues in their crawlspace again.
This crawl space's poor insulation was causing the floors above the home to be pretty cold some days. The crawl space also had moisture issues because it was exposed to the open earth. We fixed all this by just wrapping the crawl space in Clean Space lining and pasting SilverGlo insulation all over the crawl space walls. When you seal the crawl space correctly, you only need insulation on the walls. This job now allows the owner's of the home to walk around barefoot in the Winter time!
