Kevin P. of Brimfield, IL had a basement was having a lot of water coming in to his home through the floor and wall joints. He called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems to get his basement waterproofed. He met with design specialist Fred Romane, who suggested a full perimeter sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard, along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The large basement is now very dry, even the sunken living room. 

Sarah was concerned about her egress window she had installed. Fore during heavy rain falls, water would collect in the area, posing threat to leaking into her basement. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to see what should could do to improve her situation. She was offered a sump and drainage system to keep water from pooling in the window well. She was also offered an egress window well cover to help divert the rain from entering the area. Sarah no longer has concerns with heavy rains thanks to the help from MidAmerica Basement Systems.

For many years Richard and Sharleen let water enter their basement, never fixing the issue. Over time, the walls began to bow, causing an unsafe foundation to live in. They finally reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their issues addressed once and for all. Due to the years of untreated leaking water, mold had grown in large sections throughout the basement, and MoldX was applied to help reduce the mold. EverLast Windows replaced the old leaking windows, and CleanSpace was placed over the walls. CleanSpace helps reduce the moisture levels and helps protect from future mold growth. WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump were installed in the basement to help redirect and discharge the water the entered the basement. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to help control humidity levels, keeping the process of mold growth from succeeding. A PowerBrace system was then installed to permanently stabilize the foundation. The unique tightening feature also allows for the wall to be straightened over time to increase the appearance of the walls.

In Neponset, IL a homeowner noticed the flooring in his finished basement was getting wet. After removing the flooring he realized it was an issue he needed to address quickly, which is where we stepped in.
