Homeowner, Robert was having some concerns about his crawlspace. He did not want to have to worry about the musty smells and odors that come along as time goes on. The best solution was encapsulation with CleanSpace. Having CleanSpace in a crawlspace keeps the odors and water vapors from permeating walls and floors, and keeps the area dry.

Gail had begun to notice water seeping in through the crawlspace opening, making the basement and crawlspace wet and moldy. He was concerned with the current system that was installed, and quickly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the issue resolved. Design Specialist, Dan, offered the solution of a total crawlspace encapsulation and a basement waterproofing system to keep both areas dry. CleanSpace Matting and Liner were installed in the crawlspace to prevent moisture from seeping in the through the exposed ground, providing a permanent seal for the home. Vent covers and spray foam were added along the crawlspace walls to eliminate moisture from entering and to make the area more energy efficient. WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump were installed in the basement portion along the crawlspace wall to discharge water from the crawlspace and to prevent water seepage in the rest of the basement.
