Waterloo, IA Basement Waterproofing

NexusPro Joint Sealant Helps with Waterproofing the Basement in Waterloo, IA

Homeowners Mike and Sharon were having some issues with water seeping in their basement during large rainfalls. Water would only come in at a small section on the south side of the home. When they contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have their issue addressed, it was noted that water was seeping in through the large gap between the driveway and concrete patio. It was suggested that the injection of NexusPro Joint Sealant be placed along the large crack. This would protect from water seeping in and under the concrete, preventing the pooling water that would seep into the basement foundation. Sealing the gap not only preventing water from pooling underneath and against the foundation, but also prevents ground washouts from under the slabs. When washouts become present, the concrete will then cause the area to sink. NexusPro is not the only way to prevent the water seeping in the basement, and it was also offered that a waterproofing system be installed.

Preventing Floor Drain from Backups for Basement in Waterloo, IA

He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the correct his issue. He was offered a WaterGuard and LateralDrain drainage system to collect and redirect the seeping water before it could over flow and flood the basement. A TripleSafe system was also installed so that any water that is collected in the WaterGuard or LateralDrains, could be discharged out of the basement.
