We had seen ads for Woods Basement Systems on FOX 2. However, with any major foundation project, we solicited three seperate companies to submit bids. Woods clearly seperated themselves from their industry peers from start to finish. They carefully and respectfully educated us on their recommendations - giving us supporting evidence from soil conditions to bed rock to the engineering involved and the expectations for how long the job would take. Their presentation materials were outstanding and they carefully evaluated every possible option with us to keep the costs reasonable while still repairing our foundation settlement problems. We are extremely pleased with the entire Woods Basement Systems crew - from start to finish - we wholeheartedly recommend them to other homeowners, who, like us, want to work with professional, respectful companies when considering a foundation repair that will last for the lifetime of the home.
Rich was our sales rep and he was absolutely outstanding. Professional, responsive, available to any and all questions, educated, thorough with every detail of the inquiry, engineering of the work, permits needed, equipment explaination, financial options and more. He stopped by while the work was being done and has since followed up a few times to ensure we are satisfied.
Jessir was our foreman on the job. His attention to detail, efficiency of the work, his crew and his respectful and trustworthy demeanor, and easy-going personality were welcome in our home. Jessir and his crew made our entire experience with a major piering job (we installed 22 piers) feel like a snap. From carefully placing drop cloths on our floors to avoid any add'l clean up, to each individual pier installation, which were both indoors and outdoors, Jessir and his crew delivered on the expectation that the job would be done in the 4 day timeline. They arrived on time, ready to work and worked until the goal of the day was complete. We imagined a huge clean up afterwards from all the digging and dirt, and could not have been more pleased that every single inch of our basement had been carefully put back together. All we had to do after piering holes were sealed was move our personal items back. A sales rep can impress, but it's the crew who defines the experience and this Woods Basement crew was top notch!
Jessir and his crew had to dig up our landscaping as part of the job. When they put our plants and bushes back, they were better than before! I was anticipating a huge post-job clean up of dust, dirt, rocks, concrete, staples, etc in our basement and througout the house once the job was done. And these guys left us NOTHING of the sort. They carefully swept up, replaced concrete perfectly, removed all equipment, and left my basement and outdoor areas so spotless you wouldn't have known we had the work done. All we had to do was return our personal items to their original spots in the basement!
