During the crawl space inspection, the LRE Design Specialist discovered a very damp environment without an effective moisture control system. The original block piers in the crawl space, which had been supporting the home's floor joists, had deteriorated, resulting in sagging and instability in the floor joists.
An inspection by the LRE Design Specialist revealed a lack of support for the wooden floor joists above, causing them to sag.
