It's a dirty job, but we love to do it.
Before Photo: The squares beneath the blue tape are sections that were cut out of the garage slab to install push piers. To get to the bottom of the foundation, a large amount of dirt was temporarily removed.
After Photo: After the push piers achieved the appropriate depth to lift and stabilize the foundation, the dirt was shoveled back into the square holes. Then new concrete was poured to fill the squares.
The purpose of this project was to level the home so the new homeowners could remodel it to their liking. With an uneven foundation, the work they would have put into the remodel would have been negated if the foundation had continued to get worse.
When water gets into the crawl space of your home, it gets soaked into the dirt where it will overstay its welcome and create a foul odor. With the installation of our CleanSpace Liner, you can both protect your crawl space from the water below and above the ground.
We had previously helped this homeowner lift their sunken floor with the installation of our SmartJack Adjustable Steel Posts. A year later on a follow-up appointment to check the quality of our work, our Service Technician, Joro Dimitrov discovered that the crawlspace had some leftover water from the rain. To fix this, the homeowner agreed to hire us to install a Sump Pump and a Vapor Barrier to cover the crawlspace like a raincoat, keeping the crawlspace safe from moisture damage.
This customer, located in Rescue, came to us with concerns regarding uneven, sloping hard wood floors.
Our Structural Consultant, Tim, came to evaluate their situation. This home had settling issues in the crawl space, caused by soil movement that had weakened the connections of the existing wooden floor support system. By installing our SmartJack Adjustable Steel Post system with cast-in-place concrete footings, we were able to lift and stabilize the floor, giving the homeowner's floor the stability it had when it was originally built.
This customer, located in Shingle Springs CA, came to us with concerns about a musty smell coming from their crawl space. By installing our CleanSpace Vapor/Moisture Barrier and drainage, the homeowner can rest assured that any smell coming from the ground will be blocked.
