When I first learned my new home had a humidity and potential water management problem in the crawlspace, I was completely uneducated about how to fix. I put in the time to understand the science behind potential solutions and whether this was a job I could complete or would be best left to a professional. I interviewed several companies and each provided a proposal with a scope of work. Each proposal had some merit but each fell short. I chose the Basement Doctor because Roger Kief, Inspector, made time to patiently analyze the problem and offer a proposal specific to my situation. The proposal was professional, factual and without high pressure. Roger's proposal was the most cost-effective solution and came with warranty and guarantees that can only come from a well-established local national franchise company like the Basement Doctor. Roger was attentive and followed up with emails or phone calls to all my questions. Ben Gruber was the foreman of the installation team and his team overall did a fabulous job! As the work moved forward, Ben kept me informed of the progress each day. When an unexpected change in the scope of the work surfaced, the change was coordinated with Roger and the need verified by an on-site visit by Shawn Wardlow, production manager. I approved and the final price was adjusted at a reasonable cost savings. A new electric line was needed and Mike Leppert did an excellent installation. It is clear this new encapsulated Cleanspace crawlspace was built with the best materials in the industry and the Sedona Sani Dry dehumidifier appears to have the humidity under control. It is understood the real test will be in the spring/summer months at highest humidity. I am appreciative of the free follow-up visit the Basement Doctor will do in the spring to verify all is well. As a retired Army veteran with 28 years active duty I was appreciative of the military discount. The knowledge, professionalism, teamwork and overall industry experience demonstrated by this Cincinnati Basement Doctor team consisting of Roger Kief, Shawn Wardlow, Ben Gruber and Mike Leppert was outstanding and combined to make this a great customer experience!
