WaterGuard perimeter drainage has been installed along the foundation walls to intercept any water before it can enter the basement. Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system has been installed around the oil tank, which connect to WaterGuard, forming a unified pathway for water to flow towards the sump pump. The UltraSump sump pump then expels the water from the property via a discharge line.
Given the size of the basement, an additional extraction point was installed. The process from the first extraction point is replicated at the second, with the pipes joining together before extending to the outside of the house.
WaterGuard has been installed along the basement's perimeter, serving as an interior French Drain system designed to intercept water before it enters the basement and channel it to the sump pump.
The team initiated the project by establishing an extraction point within the basement foundation. This allows the radon gas, which accumulates in the soil beneath the foundation, to be drawn out through PVC pipes and expelled from the house.
The sump pump failed to capture water, leaving the basement vulnerable to water intrusion. The absence of a lid on the pump left it susceptible to debris potentially clogging the pump, as well as increasing humidity in the basement, which could result in moisture buildup.
In order to allow space for WaterGuard and TrenchLock to be installed, the concrete along the basement border is trenched out.
Our installation crews are committed to maintaining a tidy work area. Prior to commencing the project, they took precautions to safeguard any personal belongings left in the basement.
WaterGuard has been installed around the perimeter of the foundation to gather water from the moist soil outside. It then directs this water to the sump pump.
