Our Overall Service
The initial crawl space incapsulation (one year ago) went very well. In the past 2-3 months, repair was needed to the original job because ground water was seeping into the crawl space. DBS came back to my home to replace the original taping job. It was then suggested to me by the workers that I should get a high-powered dehumidifier from DBS to deal with the high humidity and water condensation in the crawl space. The new dehumidifier needed a new dedicated electrical circuit, so I needed to hire an electrician to install it. All of this extra equipment work cost me an additional $3500, on top of the nearly $7,000 I spent on the initial process. For these high prices, I expected perfection from all team members. I was disappointed in DBS because they cancelled their scheduled services with me many times. The service cancellations were always done on the day of the scheduled services. This was a very frustrating process for me. I continually scheduled and re-scheduled my own personal appointments and meetings to be at my home for their service, and they continued to cancel and cancel my service (previous job took longer than expected, so they didn't have time for my job, equipment wasn't working well so they needed to get it repaired, truck had a flat tire on the way yo my house, so they needed to bring it to a car repair shop to get it fixed, etc., etc. . This was extremely frustrating.

Shane Ng did an amazing job of "service recovery" with me. He listened to my frustrations, apologized every time there was another issue, gave me his personal cell number so I could call him directly with questions and problems throughout the process, etc. He, alone, gave me the confidence in DBS to continue with your services. However, several other service crew members gave me incorrect information on DBS products, tried to sell me products I didn't need, quoted me incorrect prices on various DBS products and services, etc. They were all very nice, but gave me incorrect information that resulted in me losing confidence in DBS. Thank goodness Shane came along in the middle of this process and straightened everything out, gave me the correct advice, correct prices, etc.
